Dr. Elliot Mitmaker is Associate Professor of Surgery and Oncology at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University and is an Endocrine Surgeon at the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University Health Center. Dr. Mitmaker obtained his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 2003 and completed his General Surgery residency and obtained his Masters in Experimental Surgery from ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. He then went on to complete a prestigious 2-year research and clinical fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) from 2009-2011. After completing his fellowship, he was recruited back as the first fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and has since developed a successful academic endocrine surgery practice. Dr. Mitmaker also serves as Program Director of the Surgical Oncology Fellowship Training Program at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University and remains very active in teaching and research.Â
