Congrats to Kaila Bonnell on her new publication on Disability and Health Journal
March 5, 2021,听Kaila Bonnell, Emilie Michalovic, and听Dr. Shane Sweet published their study entitled "" on the听Disability and Health Journal.听This journal听is a scientific, scholarly, and multidisciplinary journal for reporting original contributions that advance knowledge in disability and health.
This听qualitative study investigated the relative accessibility of physical activity from the perspective of individuals with physical disabilities. The first author,听Kaila Bonnell, worked as an undergrad research assistant at the TIE lab between 2018 and 2019. Kaila now starts her Master's program at the University of British Columbia. The second author, Emilie Michalovic, is a current TIE lab PhD candidate. Dr. Sweet is the听TIE lab听co-director.
