Advancement Operations

Advancement Operations offers candidates careers in a variety of specialties and domains including general administration, biographical records, finance and donation services, gift compliance, information management, planning and analysis, prospecting and pipeline development, and human resources/talent management.

Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving

Careers within alumni engagement specialize in event management and logistics, alumni engagement and volunteer management and student and young alumni programs. Alumni Engagement professionals are tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, volunteers, alumni, students and other communities of interest through the development and implementation of engagement strategies.

Roles within the Annual Giving team are involved in the research, planning, development, implementation, management and ongoing evaluation of comprehensive, University-wide direct marketing programs. Annual giving professionals are responsible for overseeing annual fund solicitation strategies, supporting volunteer activities, and planning and implementing annual fundraising campaigns.

Communications

Roles within the Communications team at University Advancement specialize in one of three main domains: content and publications, creative services, donor reporting and project management. Communications professionals are responsible for the creation of a wide range of digital and print materials to support the University’s fundraising initiatives and to keep alumni, donors and friends closely connected and well informed about the University.

Development Programs

The Development Programs unit offers career opportunities in frontline fundraising. Development staff are charged with soliciting and securing donations by growing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University network, from individuals, corporations and foundations. Roles vary from entry-level associate positions to gain exposure and experience with the field of advancement, to advanced leadership roles in high-level frontline fundraising in support of philanthropic revenue generation.

Donor and Volunteer Engagement

Donor relations and Stewardship professionals act as stewardship resources for partners within University Advancement and across the University. Staff within the Donor Relations team are engaged in activities including donor recognition and acknowledgement and customized stewardship planning. The Volunteer Partnerships team promotes an institutional culture that values volunteers as integral members of the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ community, with the goal of identifying and engaging the next cohort of advancement leaders who will drive future University campaigns and advancement programs.
