Rebecca L. Johnson is a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Dr. Chriscinda Henry. Specializing in studies of sacred architecture from the 14th to 16th centuries across the Adriatic, her research examines how church spaces were developed and experienced along the Croatian littoral. Rebecca is interested in methodologies of transcultural exchange, identity formation, the cult of saints, and bodily movement.
Rebecca completed her BA in Art History (2016) and her Master’s in Art History and Visual Culture (2017) at the University of Guelph.
Her research at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ has been supported by SSHRC and FRQSC.
