Childcare

ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ

Quebec was the first province to offer parents universal childcare. The popularity of the program is evidenced by how difficult it is to find a spot. The Government of Quebec has a centralized waiting list system for subsidized and unsubsidized daycares and childcare centres called . It is strongly recommended that parents begin making arrangements at leastÌý6-12 month in advance of the desired registration date by creating a profile and selecting various preferred locations. Visit the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Family Care website for information on the types of daycare and childcare subsidies available.

Please note that the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Daycare is not managed by the university and has a particularly long waiting list accessible only via LaPlace 0-5.Ìý
