The BESSÌýis the association that represents undergraduate students enrolled in the B. Eng. Bioresource program at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. Its services range from organizing campus-wide events to career planning and information seminars. In addition, the BESSÌýorganizes dinner outings, networking opportunities, and social events for itsÌýmembers.
MuTrac is a group of engineeringÌýand non-engineering studentsÌýwho work together to develop and design a 1/4 scale pulling tractor to compete in American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) tractor pull competition in Peoria, Illinois, every year. Every member has the opportunity to learn industry standard softwaresÌýfor drawing and coding, as well as management techniques for teams and cash flow.
Macdonald Campus Manufacturing, Modeling and Design Club (M3D)
M3D provides an opportunity to learn about the procedures of 3D printing while also providing this service to the community. It is a great way to make custom parts for repairs or experiments, useful tools, art, models to understand complex mechanisms etc.

The Macdonald Campus Students' Society (MCSS) represents the diploma (FMT) and undergraduate students of ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University's Macdonald Campus. Established in 1914, MCSS supports social and academic activities, coordinates clubs, and works to influence University policies in the students' best interests. Governed by an 18-member Students’ Council, the MCSS employs full-time and part-time staff, including positions for students. Its funding comes from student fees and bar revenues. Students are encouraged to get involved, whether by attending Council meetings, running for executive positions, or starting their own clubs or activities.
The Macdonald Campus Graduate Students' Society (MCGSS) represents graduate students at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ's Macdonald Campus and is part of the Post-Graduate Students' Society (PGSS) of ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ. MCGSS advocates for graduate student concerns and fosters a vibrant campus life by organizing activities such as monthly bagel breakfasts during the school year and a summer BBQ. MCGSS also provides grants for academic travel and supports student clubs, encouraging students to apply for travel grants to attend local and international conferences.
