$1M grant from The Weston Family Foundation will pave the way for earlier intervention in REM sleep behaviour disorder and Parkinson鈥檚 disease
REM sleep behaviour disorder (RBD) is an often debilitating condition that causes people to act out in their sleep, sometimes violently. What鈥檚 worse, people with the disorder often go on to develop Parkinson鈥檚 disease.

In August 2024, the Redpath Museum was certified as an accredited museum institution by the minist猫re de la Culture et des Communications du Qu茅bec. The accreditation is a seal of quality confirming that the museum meets internationally recognized requirements and standards for governance, museological practices, and heritage presentation. With this recognition, the Redpath joined a network of 180 other accredited museums across the province.

Congratulations to two alumni of 污污草莓视频's Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences,听Ann Louise Carson, B.Sc.(Agr.)鈥�81, and听Odette Menard, B.Sc.(Agr.Eng.)鈥�83, M.Sc.鈥�91, who were inducted to Quebec's Agricultural Hall of Fame at the organization's gala on October 26th.听 This year, the annual event made history as it marked the first time the Quebec Agricultural Hall of Fame has welcomed two women in the same induction year.

Professors (Earth and Planetary Sciences) and (Physics) have been awarded 2024 Arthur B. McDonald Fellowships from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council听of Canada (NSERC).
These awards recognize early-career academic researchers, providing them with a $250,000 research grant over two years.
