How to Book an Appointment

Current Cognitive Science Students
For students who have declared the Cognitive Science major or minor (or BA & Sc U0 students intending to declare cogsci)
- 20 minute in-person and zoom advising appointments
- Available until Dec 20th, stops over winter break and resumes Jan 15, 2025.
- In-person advising (20 min): Wednesday-FridayÌý
- Zoom advising (20 min): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

- Add/Drop Peak Period: advising Jan 6-14
- Only 15 minute Zoom appointments are available during this peak period
- Appointments only show up on the calendar 2 days ahead
- If your questions are not related to winter course planning, then please wait and book a meeting after the add/drop period is over (Jan 15 or later)

*Appointments can only be booked 7 days in advance. If no appointments are available in the next 7 days it will appear to show no appointments for the entire month, but more will become available tomorrow. This changes to a 2 day booking window during peak advising periods.

For students from other degrees that are interested in declaring Cognitive Science (major or minor)
- Before booking an appointment please review the following:
- INTER Faculty Transfer (IFT) requirements for the BA & Sc degree. Most of your questions will be answered in the Science Undergraduate Handbook section 5, or should be directed to the IFT contact before seeing the Cognitive Science Program advisor.

Newly Admitted Students
- Pre-registration Group advising sessions will be offered just before registration begins, usually in June.Ìý Check back for details in May.
- Individual advising will be available throughout the summer, see info above to book an appointment.
- Fall New Student Orientation; a group orientation session will be offered end of August each year.

- Before requesting an appointment, please consult the Undergraduate Admissions requirements to ensure that you are eligible for the BA & Sc degree program.
- All questions related to admission and applying to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ should be directed to Admissions and cannot be answered by the Cognitive Science advisor.
