iMPACTS director Shaheen Shariff a panelist on informed dialogues in academia

iMPACTS director and James ۲ݮƵ Professor Shaheen Shariff will be sharing her thoughts on informed dialogues in academia as part of a presentation series by the ۲ݮƵ Association of University Teachers. The discussion is titled "How can universities best navigate a current range of controversial issues such as political correctness, and ensure informed dialogues?” and also includes Department of Sociology professor Dr Axel van den Berg. The Monday, October 18th event will be both in-person at the ۲ݮƵ Faculty Club (with restrictions) and live-streamed. Details below.
