Involvement can shape your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ experience

One of my favourite memories in the BCom program is from my second year in Don Melville's Not-for-Profit-ConsultingÌý±è°ù´Ç²µ°ù²¹³¾.ÌýÌý

My group spent almost the whole year developing a solution for a Montreal NGO with our mentor from McKinsey & Co. At the end of the project, we presented our strategy to senior consultants at McKinsey's office in Montreal.

Additionally, a lot of my memories from the last four years stem from my extracurricular involvement. Most especially, I was able to represent our undergraduate student body as the MUS President over the last year.

Overall, the advice I would give my first-year self is not to be afraid of involvement. I remember being intimidated as a new student and shying away from extracurricular activities. Looking back, my biggest regret is not getting involved sooner. Involvement can shape your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ experience, help you make lasting friendships, and is super important to building your CV.
