Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Canada Research Chair (Tier-II) in Biomaterials and Biomacromolecule Delivery, and a Full member in the Goodman Cancer Institute at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. Dr. Guojun Chen earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Nankai University in 2012 and his PhD in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. Following his doctoral studies, he completed postdoctoral training at UCLA before joining ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University in 2021. His research focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials and drug delivery systems for a range of therapeutics, including nucleic acids, proteins, and small molecules. These platforms are being explored for the treatment of various diseases, including cancer, infectious diseases, and genetic disorders.
