The complementary specific aims of this team grant research project are to:
i) Determine our exposure to the replacements for commercial endocrine-disrupting chemicals that have been restricted through regulatory decisions or consumer de-selection;
ii) Examine the potential health effects of these replacements and ways to prevent exposure; and
iii) Promote responsible replacements by engaging with our collaborators and partners from government, industry and non-government agencies. We will focus on those chemicals for which our research reveals widespread exposure and adverse health effects.
