Overview
Please note: Previously the "Diploma in Human Relations & Family Life Education". This program has undergone program change as of Fall 2019.
Students who were accepted into the Diploma in Human Relations & Family Life Education will continue to follow their initial trajectories (see link to old program requirements below).
At the intersection of most recent research and practice in inclusivity, sexual health education, diversity , leaderships, advocacy and technology.
The Diploma in Human Relationships, Diversity & Sexuality (30 credits) The Diploma in Human Relationships, Diversity and Sexuality focuses on the complexity of relationships in a digital and global world. Taking an intersectional approach with an orientation toward social justice, topics include sexuality, culture, ability, media literacy, communication, advocacy, and leadership.

This program is intended for:
- educators
- professionals
- community workers
- others interested in furthering their skills related to these topics.
After Graduation
Graduates of the Diploma in Human Relationships, Diversity & Sexuality will have acquired skills relevant to work in educational environments, community organizations, health-related environments, etc.

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, applicants must:
1. Possess an undergraduate degree with a CGPA of at least 2.7 out of 4.0.
2.Submit two letters of reference addressing academic ability and/or qualifications for working with children and/or adolescents in a helping role, and general character. Letters of reference must be sent directly by the referee from an institutional email address on official letterheadto ecpcont.education [at] mcgill.ca.
3. Submit a personal statement illustrating applicants practicalexperience(s)and reason(s) for seeking admission to the program.
4. Since English is the primary language of instruction and communication at ۲ݮƵ, students must demonstrate an adequate level of proficiency in English, regardless of their citizenship status or country of origin. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that the Diploma in Human Relationships, Diversity & Sexualityis offered on a part-time basis, we are unable to accept any international applicants.

Supporting Documents
The following documents must be received before the application can be processed:
1. An official transcript.Arrangements should be madeto have an official transcript sent directly from the former educational institution.
2. Two pieces of identification.
3. Proof of age: Students 21 years of age and over, who do not have the normal academic background for admission, may be admitted as mature students. Two pieces of personal identification must be attached.
4. TOEFL, IELTS, APIEL, ۲ݮƵ SCS-TELP, ۲ݮƵ Certificate of Proficiency in English – Language and Culture, or Certificate of Proficiency – English for Professional Communication, orCEEN 421andCEEN 422with a minimum grade of B-, if your mother tongue is other than English.

Students who have completed both Secondary V and a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Quebec (DEC) are not required to submit proof of proficiency in English.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of $101.38. in Canadian or U.S. funds, payable by Visa or MasterCard, is required. This fee includes application for evaluation of transcripts for students requesting Advanced Standing in a program at the time of admission.
۲ݮƵ's highly secured e-payment service minimizes cardholder risk. Your credit card information is passed instantly to the Moneris payment gateway and is not stored at ۲ݮƵ. Moneris handles 80% of all credit card transactions processed in Canada. ۲ݮƵ University cannot process online applications without a valid credit card. If you cannot pay by credit card, please call 514-398-6200 for assistance.
Tracking the Status of Your Application
A notice acknowledging receipt of your application to ۲ݮƵ University will be sent to the email address indicated on your application.
This acknowledgment notice will contain a ۲ݮƵ identification number and a PIN that you can subsequently use to log on to Minerva, ۲ݮƵ’s self-service web-based administrative system.
You will be able to check the status of your application, including the receipt of supporting documents, onMinerva.

Courses & Timetables
• Time Limitation Policy: Students have 4 years to complete the diploma.
• Course Load: Students have the option to pursue this diploma on a part‐time or full‐time basis and may register for up to 12 credits per term depending on course availability.
