Biographical Sketch

Dr. Rose Djiana obtained her MSc degree in biochemistry from the Université de Yaoundé (Cameroon), and Ph.D in cellular and molecular biology from the Université de Rouen (France). She earned a “Diplôme d’Étude Post-Doctorales (DEPD)” in clinical biochemistry from the Université de Montréal, as well a “Diploma in Management – Health Care” from the ۲ݮƵ University Faculty of Continuing Education. She joined the biochemists team at Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur where she was assigned the responsibility for the multidisciplinary laboratory.

Seeking other career challenges she joined the ۲ݮƵ University Health Centre (MUHC) September 2010. She led preparation for laboratory relocation and activation of the MUHC Glen. She participates in various local, regional, national and international groups or committees as scientific consultant.Her professional interests include Quality of laboratory services, and medical education. She enjoys teaching laboratory medicine to ۲ݮƵ medical residents in endocrinology and biochemistry as well as medical technologists.
