Course views

The course views contain columns for course information (crn, course subject, course name, etc.), personal information (ID, name, address, mother tongue, etc.), primary and secondary curriculum (level, faculty, degree, major, etc.), GPA information (cumulative, term, sessional, hours attempted, hours earned, etc.), various indicators (registration, applied for graduation, degree awarded, etc.) as well as many other data elements.

All the course views are keyed by the term code (TERM_CODE_KEY) and course registration number (CRN_KEY). These views contain all the terms since Banner went live (200209 and greater). The views will return one row of information per student per course per term.

Current term views (ones that contain CURR_TERM in the name) are filtered to automatically return only records for the active current term. They switch over with the first day of classes each term.

The view names you see will depend on the level of access you have been granted. The naming convention is as follows:

Developer level: SRM_COURSES,

SRM_COURSES_CURR_TERM
Central User level: SRU_COURSES,

SRU_COURSES_CURR_TERM
Faculty level: SR_COURSES_FAC,

SR_COURSES_CURR_TERM_FAC
Service level: SR_COURSES_SERV,

SR_COURSES_CURR_TERM_SERV
Basic level: SR_COURSES_BASIC,

SR_COURSES_CURR_TERM_BASIC
Alumni level: SR_COURSES_DARS,

SR_COURSES_CURR_TERM_DARS

Other "special" course views have been created for specific cases.
