The Department of Family Medicine had a total of six Masters students and two PhD students who graduated this Fall and who were conferred their degrees on December 2 at Place des Arts. Congratulations – you make us so proud! Here, we meet Maysaloun Mokaddam to hear her ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ story.
±á´Ç³¾±ð³Ù´Ç·É²Ô:ÌýI am Syrian, but I grew up in Kuwait and I am happy to now call Montreal a home.
What have you enjoyed the most about studying at the Department of Family Medicine?:Â What makes our department truly special is the diversity of the people who are part of it. This diversity is also reflected in the curriculum, which I greatly appreciated.
A (proud/scary/wonderful) moment you will never forget? I will always cherish the memories I made with my colleagues and lab in San Francisco and Quebec City during the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG). Â
What’s Next? I am currently working as a research assistant with Dr. de Pokomandy on the Cohort in Primary Care study. It’s a rewarding experience to contribute to this important work alongside a fantastic team.
Congratulations Maysaloun!
