Congratulations to Nadia O'Brien on receiving the IHSP Graduate Award!
We are proud to announce that one of the graduate students in our department, Nadia O'Brien, was selected to receive an award through the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Institute for Health and Social Policy's Graduate Award Program (GAP) the 2015-2016 academic year. The Graduate Award Program is competitive and merit-based. The GAP award is for outstanding graduate students whose current or proposed dissertation topics are interdisciplinary and connected to understanding how social conditions impact population health and welfare. Students are expected to be active participants in the program throughout the academic year, and must attend GAP seminars focused on how to move research into practice and interdisciplinary communication, present research with a focus on policy to the IHSP community, and meet with IHSP interns over the course of the year. Congratulations Nadia!
