EDI Journal Club: The Role of Sexual and Gender Diversity in Youth Homelessness
Queer History Month aims to raise awareness, advance education and increase visibility of 2S&LGBTQIA+ communities. In support of Queer History Month, the Family Medicine Graduate Programs鈥� Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee will be hosting a journal club, in partnership with the School of Population and Global Health鈥檚 EDI Committee.

Oral PhD defense for Stephanie Long
Stephanie Long, a PhD candidate at the Department of Family Medicine, will be presenting her Oral PhD defense. She was co-supervised by Tibor Schuster and Bertrand Lebouch茅. Her doctorate was supported by an FRQS Doctoral Scholarship.
Topic: Methodological challenges in synthesizing public data and expert knowledge within primary care research studies through a causal inference lens

At this session, you will hear from the Graduate Program Director about the various research topics in the field of family medicine and primary health care with an emphasis on community engagement.聽 The program provides rigorous training in qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, knowledge synthesis and participatory research approaches.
