The Speech Motor Control lab is equipped with a variety of resources. In addition to its own facilities, the lab also has access to equipment provided by the , and the Montreal Neurological Institute. Our resources include:
- a MAGSTIM Rapid, used for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and repetitive TMS
- 1.5 T and 3T MRI scanners, located at the MNI, used for both anatomical and functional neuroimaging
- an Articulograph AG500, which measures articulatory movements
- a Phantom Premium robot arm, used to perturb speech production
- 64- and 128-channel EEG equipment, used to record electrical activity in the brain
