Graduate and Postdoctoral Funding For Indigenous Students

All self-declared Indigenous students pursuing a Masters or PhD are eligible for an Indigenous recruitment award (non-research masters are eligible as well). This award is a one-year, non-renewable recruitment/entrance award of up to 5K for Masters and 10K for PhD students, and it is meant to be offered on top of a regular funding package by the department. Supervisors can send the names of their nominees to graduatefunding.gps [at] mcgill.caÌýat the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. The funds are limited, so early offers to Indigenous students are important.
