Dr. Dilson Rassier

Dilson RassierÌýisÌýcurrently serving asÌýthe Dean of theÌýFaculty of Education, ÌýatÌýÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. He holds a Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Muscle Biophysics and is a Professor within the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education. Additionally, Dr. Rassier has numerous research affiliations, including associate membership in theÌýÌýat the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, as well as in the Departments of PhysiologyÌý²¹²Ô»åÌý at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. He is also an associate member inÌý.

Dr. Rassier began his academic journey by earning a bachelor's degree inÌýKinesiology and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at the in Brazil. He then went on to earn his Ph.D. inÌýMuscle Physiology from theÌýÌýin 1998. Dr. Rassier has extensive research experience, having completed four years of postdoctoral training at theÌý, followed by an additional year at theÌý
