STEPHANIE BOLSTER has published four books of poetry, the most recent of which,聽A Page from the Wonders of Life on Earth, was a finalist for the Pat Lowther Award. Work from her current manuscript,聽Long Exposure, was a finalist for the CBC Poetry Prize in 2012 and longlisted in 2017. Her first book,聽White Stone: The Alice Poems, won the Governor General鈥檚 and the Gerald Lampert Awards in 1998. Her work has been translated into French (Pierre Blanche: po猫mes d鈥橝lice), Spanish, and German.聽Editor of聽The Best Canadian Poetry in English 2008听补苍诲听The Ishtar Gate: Last and Selected Poems聽by the late Ottawa poet Diana Brebner, and co-editor of聽Penned: Zoo Poems, she was born in Vancouver and teaches creative writing at Concordia University in Montr茅al.
