Olivia Vu is a licensed social worker and a member in good standing of the Ordre des Travailleurs Sociaux et Therapeutes Conjugaux et Familiaux du Quebec (OTSTCFQ). She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Université de Sherbrooke and her Masters in Social work from Université Laval. She has worked in the Health and Social Service sector and community sector for 8 years and has developed an expertise in working with adults struggling with anxiety and stress, interpersonal relationships, parenting challenges, grief and loss, workplace as well as caregiver burnout, and difficult life transitions. She also works closely with families who have experienced trauma, bereavement and loss and postpartum issues in the hospital setting.

Olivia strives to offer a caring and non–judgmental environment for her clients, as she truly believes in the full potential and the resilience of each being. She uses a collaborative approach when engaging with her clients in an effort to help them feel safe and comfortable to open up, share and work together to improve their current situations. She draws from a wide range of different approaches such as solution focused, strengths and resources based, humanistic, family systems theory, and somatic experiencing.
