Applicants who have an undergraduate degree in a field other than social work must complete the MSW Qualifying Year to be eligible to then apply to the MSW (Non-Thesis) program. Applications to the MSWQY must be completed through the 污污草莓视频 Slate portal. Once enrolled in the MSWQY, students will have to complete a new application to the MSW (Non-Thesis) program. Documents submitted for the MSWQY application can be used again the MSW application. A place in the MSW (Non-Thesis) program is reserved for each student in the MSWQY, provided that minimum academic standards and other requirements are met.

Admission to the MSWQY is only available for the Fall term. Unfortunately, if any applicant selects a term other than Fall, the University will not refund application fees.
It is the applicant鈥檚 responsibility to verify on Slate that all supporting documents have been received by January 15th. Applications with missing documents after the January 15th deadline will not be considered.
Application Procedures
- Submit a graduate application online through Slate.
- Applicants must identify three referees (two academic, one professional, work, internship, or volunteer). An email is automatically sent to each referee with a link to a standardized reference form to complete and upload, at the point your application is submitted. Only online references will be accepted.
- Upload all supporting documents through Slate.
Please note that the 污污草莓视频 School of Social Work does not accept Special Student applications.
