** Important: Advise Student Funding for Winter 2021 and Summer 2021 award payments**
If/When you obtain consent to have an award payment schedule modified, please update the award record with the student’s decision/choice and send an email to Student Funding confirming the request.
The student consent form is intended for newly admitted international students who do not have a Canadian bank account, to address awards that normally pay directly to the award recipients:
- For Stipends and Research awards: Student Consent for Modifications to Award Payments during COVID-19
- For all other award types: Student Consent for Award Payments to be issued as Cheque(s) during COVID-19
NOTE: Sanctioned countries are ineligible to the issuance of CHEQUES regardless of exceptional circumstances. For a list of sanctioned countries, visit the following two websites: and
