About Education for Arts Students

This Minor Concentration allows Arts students to develop and explore an interest in education. It will give students a solid footing in the basics of pedagogy and may provide a starting point towards a B.Ed. degree. Students who wish to add the minor must first review important information and procedures at www.mcgill.ca/isa/faculty-advising/minor-programs.

Completion of the Minor concentration does not qualify a student for certification to teach in the province of Quebec. Students interested in a teaching career should consult Faculty of Education > Undergraduate > Overview of Faculty Programs and Faculty of Education > Graduate > Browse Academic Units & Programs > Integrated Studies in Education.
