About the School of Environment (Undergraduate)

For those wishing to pursue a career in environment, the ۲ݮƵ School of Environment (MSE) aims to stimulate their passion for life‐long learning, their confidence in questioning established norms, their ingenuity and openness to new ideas, and their ability to communicate and contribute effectively in all situations. We believe that these goals are best achieved through repeated opportunities to witness, experience and participate in diverse academic approaches. We believe that individual achievement is maximized by assuming inherent capacity and by recognizing that not all students learn the same way. Finally, we believe that major research achievements emerge out of a dynamic, interactive community where dialogue occurs among engaged students, staff and faculty from all disciplines. Thus, the MSE approach is student-centered. We strive to achieve a fully integrated, transdisciplinary understanding of problems and solutions to the many and interdependent environmental crises in a manner that bridges the social sciences and humanities with the natural and applied sciences.
