Academic Credit Transfer and Inter-University Transfer Agreements for Physical & Occupational Therapy Students
The Inter-University Transfer (IUT) agreement permits concurrent registration at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and another Quebec institution. In certain cases, credits may be granted by the School for courses taken at other universities. The Program Director's approval is required and must be obtained in advance.
Courses accepted for transfer credits must meet the following criteria:
- Courses must be comparable in their content and in their method of evaluation to courses that students are allowed to take for credit at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ; verify using the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Course Equivalency System at mcgill.ca/transfercredit/course-equivalency.
- Course content must not overlap with courses already completed at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ, CEGEP, another university, or elsewhere.
Students wishing to take advantage of this agreement should consult the Student Affairs Office for details. Further instructions and conditions are listed at University Regulations & Resources > Undergraduate > Registration > Quebec Inter-University Transfer Agreement. If you are an IUT student visiting ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ from another university, please refer to Quebec Inter-University Transfer Agreement: Visiting IUT Students.
Students interested in exchanges should consult the School's Rules and Regulations for Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
