Why Italy

Contemporary Italy represents both an archive and a laboratory. The depth of Italian history constitutes an archive where students can find an exceptional series of case studies and examples to understand the complex genealogy of our cultural, social and political present. Moreover, itÌýis a scenario where all these historical layers have condensed in a problematic way. Italy has become a laboratory where it is possible to reflect about contemporary global issues and experiment possible solutions.
