Pre-Travel:

As of Nov 2024, the MUHC is no longer able to offer pre-travel vaccination assessments for people without complex medical conditions (i.e. pre-travel patients not requiring specialist physician evaluation). Patients without complex medical problems who require pre-travel advice should seek community-based pre-travel care providers.Ìý

ÌýÌýPatients with complex medical conditions such including immune suppression and organ transplantations will continue to be seen at our MUHC clinic for pre-travel assessment by a specialist physician, for pre-travel assessment, vaccination, and counselling.Ìý

Tropical and Geographic Medicine Clinic, including post travel:ÌýÌý

The Centre’s Tropical and Geographic Medicine Clinic provides medical care for returning travelers, immigrants, and refugees, with particular expertise in imported and parasitic infections. The Centre also provides care for Canadians with locally acquired endoparasitic and ectoparasitic disease, or exposure to imported pathogens. With around 2000 patients seen each year for tropical or infectious pathologies, the TDC is among the largest center of its kind in North America.Ìý
