The Brace Water Centre (Brace) welcomes members from the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ research community who are working on water-related issues. Membership is open to faculty members, post-doctoral fellows, research associates and graduate students.Ìý
Brace supports innovations in research, education, and societal development related to water at various scales. The centre focuses on supporting multidisciplinary research that provides innovative scientific and social solutions to global water challenges and educating the next generation of leaders to become knowledgeable and capable leaders in ensuring global water security.Ìý

Brace Membership Categories
Brace offers four categories of membership:
Core Member (Engineering and FAES only)
Open to faculty members (tenured or tenure-track) from the Faculty of Engineering (Lead Faculty) or the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (involved Faculty) whoÌýdemonstrate active research in the area of water (i.e. be a recipient of aÌý water research related grant in the past 3 years)
Associate Members
Open to ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University faculty (tenured or tenure-track) or a senior researcher with a term or contract position of no less than three years from outside of the Lead and Involved facultiesÌýwho hasÌýsignificant research affiliation (either current or planned) with the Centre’s thematic areas.
Postdoctoral Scholar/Research Associate Member
Open to research trainees (i.e. postdocs) and/or researchers working directly under the supervision of a faculty member on a project related to the Centre’s thematic areas. The supervisor must be an active member of the Centre.
Graduate Student Member
Open to registered graduate students with major or significant research affiliation with the Centre; the supervisor must be an active member of the Centre.
