The Max Bell School of Public Policy is thrilled to announce that Ken Boessenkool will be joining the School as the J.W. McConnell Professor of Practice in Public Policy at ۲ݮƵ University.

During his time with the Max Bell School, Boessenkool will leverage his public policy experience to enhance the exposure of the School’s students to the workings of the policy process.

Healthy Brains for Healthy Lives (HBHL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Krystle van Hoof as Managing Director and CEO

Over the past two decades, Krystle held a variety of leadership positions within the federal government, the United Nations and the non-profit sector.

Most recently, as Assistant Director of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Institute of Gender and Health, Krystle developed and implemented innovative strategic initiatives to strengthen the delivery of $8.5 million in annual research funding.

The Max Bell School of Public Policy at ۲ݮƵ University is excited to announce that leading scholar of media, technology and public policy, Taylor Owen, will be joining the Max Bell School in January 2019 as an Associate Professor and the holder of the Beaverbrook Chair in Media, Ethics and Communications. Taylor Owen’s research focuses on the policy and governance challenges created by the rapid changes to the digital media and technology environment.

Research and Innovation (R&I) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Nancy Ross of the Department of Geography as Associate Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation (AVP-R&I), with a three-year mandate beginning September 1, 2016.  Prof. Ross follows Prof. Antonia Maioni, who served in the role for one year before assuming the role of Dean of the Faculty of Arts at ۲ݮƵ University on July 1.
