Manon Delhalle is a PhD student at the University of Liège (Belgium), under the supervision of Pr. Adélaïde Blavier. She joined the Centre for Research on Children and Families as a graduate research trainee. Her work focuses on the factors that influence the educational practices of mothers who were sexually abused in their childhood. Her thesis aims at proposing new personalized clinical interventions with those mothers. The contribution of her project is to evaluate the effects of child sexual abuse by taking into account the different types (sometimes cumulative) of maltreatment encountered by the mothers and to study the role of the parental sense of competence.
Manon Delhalle obtained her bachelor (2017) and master (2019) degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Liège. She also obtained a University Certificate in psychological support for parenthood (2022). She provides psychological consultations for victims of traumatic events as a clinical psychologist at the Psychological and Logopaedic Clinic of Liège University (CPLU).
