Overview of Finance

Integrating strong theoretical knowledge with a strong focus on the real world, a Finance degree will give you an in-depth knowledge of finance theory, financial institutions, investment analysis, risk management, and applied techniques.

Overview of Honours Investment Management (HIM)

The Honours in Investment Management program at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ is where the future of global investment management education begins. With a focus on real-world investing experience, integrated training, international partnerships and global opportunities, this program will give you a competitive edge in the financial asset management industry.

The Honours degree in Investment Management is a selective undergraduate program that will prepare you for a career in financial asset management. Designed in consultation with a world-leading team of investment managers, the program looks ahead to the future of the investment management industry.

Overview of Joint Honours Economics & Finance

With anÌýHonoursÌýdegreeÌýin Economics and Finance at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University, you will gain a broad understanding of how economics and finance work together to power our economy. The two fieldsÌýare closely entwined, with both focusing on the allocation of resourcesÌýwithin the economy.ÌýÌý

While the economics component will provide you with a strong theoretical framework for understanding how these resources are allocated, the finance courses will provide a more applied view with a greater focus on the real-world and experiential learning opportunities to give you a competitive edge.ÌýÌý

You’llÌýstudy topics like economic statistics,Ìýmacroeconomic theory, corporate finance and investment management. As the program brings together management and arts students,Ìýyou’llÌýdevelop strong networks to help you build your professional portfolio.Ìý


As of Fall 2023, the BCom Joint Honours option will be retired. Students who have started the Joint Honours program prior to Fall 2023, can continue with the old curriculum.
