Media Spotlight: Dr. Sheryl Smith-Gilman Shares Positive Outlook for Fall 2020 Remote Instruction

In an article in the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Tribune,ÌýAssociate Provost of Teaching and Academic Programs, Christopher Buddle, expressed the University’s renewed commitment to remote delivery as the safest and most equitable option for students at this time. Despite some students' concerns, Assistant Director of the Undergraduate Teacher Education Programs and DISE Faculty Lecturer,ÌýDr. Sheryl Smith-Gilman, affirms that because course instructors have had to redefine their teaching strategies, learn new technology, and get creative, that students should consider that they'll be taking fully renewed courses that promote engagement.
