Year 1: Complete Coursework
Required Courses:
- BIO 680 Bioethical Theory (3 credits)
- BIO 681 Bioethics Practicum (3 credits)
- A minimum of 3 credits of Bioethics elective courses based on specifications from each program. Examples include:

Year 2: Complete Masters Thesis
You will not attend classes, but you need to register for your thesis credits including (except HGEN – see here):
- BIOE 690 M.Sc. Thesis Literature Survey (3 Credits)
- BIOE 691 M.Sc. Thesis Research Proposal (3 Credits)
- BIOE 692 M.Sc.Thesis Res Progress Rep (6 Credits)
- BIOE 693 M.Sc. Thesis (12 Credits)
Note: You can register for thesis credits and complete them at any time during the program, as long as they are completed before the Initial Thesis Submission. Do not register for them more than once.
