Our alumni have pursued a variety of careers after graduating from the program. Some find work in research ethics (e.g. as a Research Ethics Coordinator), in a hospital (e.g. as a Clinical Ethicist, a Care Coordinator), while others pursue academic research (e.g. at a research center or institute). Others have gone on to work in the government (e.g. Health Canada, Ministries of Health), for professional associations (e.g. Ontario Medical Association), or in the non-profit (e.g. for disease charities) or private sector (e.g. law firms, pharmaceutical companies). Many also pursue further studies (e.g. a PhD, med school, law school) or continue their career (e.g. in health care, law), but with a new skill set.
