Graduate supervision and teaching are the backbones of graduate student success.  Every year, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies receives nominations for the Carrie M. Derick Award for Graduate Supervision and Teaching and the David Thomson Award for Graduate Supervision and Teaching. These awards acknowledge outstanding contributions to promoting graduate student excellence through supervision and teaching by a faculty member at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ. The award selection committees are given the difficult task of choose only one awardee for each award; however, all of the nominees demonstrate inspiring approaches to graduate supervision.
