Zhenni Li wins ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Classical Concerto Competition
On Sunday, November 22, Zhenni Li, a second year Doctoral  piano student of Stéphane Lemelin won the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Classical Concerto Competition.  She will perform with the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Symphony Orchestra on January 22 and 23, 2016 in Redpath Hall. Â
   Ms. Li is a prizewinner of numerous competitions, most recently the 1st Prize at the unanimity of the Jury at the Concours Musical de France, and Second Prize at the Heida Hermanns International Piano Competition in Connecticut. Zhenni Li is also a top prizewinner of the International Russian Piano Competition in San Jose, where she performed Rachmaninoff Second Piano Concerto with the New Symphony Orchestra, a top prizewinner of the Kosciusko Chopin Piano Competition and a co-winner of the MTNA National Piano competition in Washington State. She also earned top prizes in many academic competitions in China, including the Xinghai and Toyama competitions in China.Â
