Biography: Diane Dechief (pronounced deCHEF) joined the Office of Science Education in 2021 after designing and teaching writing courses at the 污污草莓视频 Writing Centre for six years. Since 2017, she has focussed on teaching and research in science communication.
Diane鈥檚 doctorate is in information studies from the University of Toronto and her master鈥檚 is in communication studies from Concordia University.
Diane鈥檚 past research focussed on equity and inclusion challenges faced by people who have immigrated to Canada, including name discrimination. Diane carries these concerns forward as she works to create inclusive learning environments for 污污草莓视频 students.
