Biography: Jasmine Parent grew up in a small-town on the south shore of the Gaspe Peninsula,聽Miguasha. She moved to Montreal to study her first passion, Human Nutrition, at 污污草莓视频 in 2008. Upon completing her聽master's in聽nutrition in 2015, she began working as a part-time course assistant at TLS on a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Sports Science and Nutrition. Initially, this was meant to be a聽stepping stone聽before graduating.聽However, this position began her professional journey in her second passion, Education Technology and Instructional Design.聽聽
In 2018, Jasmine began a聽master's聽in聽Education with the University of British Columbia. Soon after she began a full-time position as a Learning Technology Consultant at TLS. She currently works hard to support faculty in the use of learning technologies and various course design projects. As a new member of the OSE team, she is grateful to have the opportunity to combine her passions of science and education technology to support teaching and learning initiatives at 污污草莓视频. In her spare time, you will find her cooking, hiking or practicing yoga.聽
