Student Wellness Hub |
The Student Wellness Hub isÌýa renovated space, with increased staff, clinicians and medical professionals, for any and all health and wellness needs that you may have. It is now openÌýand is located on the third, fourth and fifthÌýfloors of the Brown Building. It has consolidated and expanded Health Services, Counselling and Psychiatric Services, so you won’t have to restart if or whenÌýyouÌýgo between units. You also won't have to guess which service is right for you. When making an appointment with a counsellor, you can request your counsellor to be: French-speaking, Indigenous, a particular gender, or to specialize in (i.e. have knowledge of and a background in) LGBTQ+ experiences. |

First Peoples' House |
First Peoples’ House staff are dedicated to supporting all First Nations, Inuit and Métis students at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ. Students can drop in or make an appointment with the First Peoples’ House Coordinator. First Peoples’ House staff are not trained counsellors but will listen respectfully and without judgment and will follow up with students as they receive appropriate support. |

Anyone affected by issues related to any form of violence in an intimate relationship and its effects on individuals, their families, and their social networks can access the clinic’s counselling services. Appointments are available by contacting the clinic by phone. |

Volunteer chaplains from a wide variety of faith traditions offer Informal and confidential support for survivors by appointment. MORSL staff and chaplains are not trained counsellors, but they can listen confidentially and compassionately, and can refer students to appropriate on-campus services. Chaplains are especially helpful for students who identify within a particular faith tradition or who wish to take a spiritual approach to establishing recovery and well-being. A trans-positive, feminist service of the Students’ Society of ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University (SSMU). Everyone is welcome to use their services. They coordinate: an alternative lending library (with over a thousand titles); a co-op stocking pay-what-you-can, ecologically responsible menstrual products, DIY sex toys, safer sex supplies and other gender empowerment items; and a zine library. The UGE also runs trans 101/allyship and anti-oppression workshops for other organizations and projects, and has a resource binder with information about abortion services, counseling and queer/trans-friendly health services in Montreal. |

It is now openÌýand is located on the third, fourth and fifthÌýfloors of the Brown Building. Meet with a Professional: Doctor/Nurse, Dietitian, Counsellor, Psychiatrist 30-minute drop-ins are available if you do not have a regular counsellor at the Hub and have aÌýsingle mental health issue that youÌýthink could be addressed in 1 session. Drop-ins with a doctor or nurseÌýare available to anyone. They can provide emergency care, prescription renewals, referrals and other services. All drop-ins begin being processed at 9 a.m. Please come in person to the Wellness Hub. SinceÌýdrop-ins fill up quickly, it's best to book an appointment if it isn't urgent. Remember to carry your ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ ID and your valid insurance card (or a picture of it on your phone) for every appointment. |
