Romina Tejada Caminiti

Romina A. Tejada is a medical doctor with a Master's Degree in Clinical Epidemiology and in Health Economics. She is an Epidemiology PhD student at ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ University. During her work at the Peruvian National Institute of Health, she conducted systematic reviews, health economic evaluations and health technology assessments for health decision making. One of her major projects was on HPV vaccination. She has also conducted a first study to measure social health preferences with the EQ-5D-5L questionnaire in Peru.

Project Title:ÌýCost-effectiveness of HPV vaccination and screening for cervical cancer prevention in South American countries (supervisor: Dr. Talía Malagón)

Brief Description:ÌýRomina's thesis research focuses on evaluating the cost-effectiveness of HPV vaccination programs in South American countries. Her study specifically investigates the economic impact of transitioning from the quadrivalent vaccine to the nonavalent vaccine, as well as exploring the potential benefits of reduced dosing schedules.
