On Thursday May 10th the MAHI was one of the sites for ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ’s Compassion Week, hosting a Compassion Day in collaboration with the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Council on Palliative Care. We were joined by a number of people from across the ÎÛÎÛ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ community including faculty and students. A number of art activities and workshops took place throughout the day.

Students on Ice

This summer, six Inuit Faculty of Education student-teachers from Nunavik will have the opportunity to participate in Teacher Training on Ice, a two-week Arctic sea expedition up the Greenlandic coast, across Davis Strait, and around the northern edge of Baffin Island to Resolute Bay.
